The day after. What a momentous event the opening of Art in Motion exhibition @indonesiahouseamsterdamThere was appreciation of the artworks on display, mingling amongst attendants, lively conversations, laughter and even tears. Young artists from Indonesia and the Netherlands showcase their diverse art form in harmony with each other. A meeting of East and West, connecting the past and present to celebrate the future. Former Dutch ambassador in Indonesia summed it up well: “It was coming home.” Come by to experience for yourself how the past can shape the future. The exhibition is until end of October. On to the next AiM step: workshop in February 2025 at the @erasmushuis_jakarta House in Jakarta, where young artists work together on an art installation for the new administrative capital in Nusantara (Borneo).
